No Man Left Behind

You're the sole surviving soldier after a mission went bad. Enemy reinforcements are closing in on your position, and your only option is to fight back as you sit and wait to be rescued. Use your limited time between waves to heal yourself, or scavenge ammo from dead enemies. Maybe you'll even find a better weapon. Good luck.

This game was made in less than 10 days by a solo developer. It exclusively uses free or original assets, as per the rules of GameDev.tv Game Jam 2024. It's short, but also very challenging, so it's expected to require multiple attempts to complete. I haven't tested it with a controller, but I did implement controller inputs so it should theoretically work if you want to try it.

I'm pretty pleased with this as a prototype, so I intend to keep working on it after the game jam. Feel free to leave a comment with feedback or suggestions for future features.
